White-throated Kingfisher

This is a fully detailed and life sized carving. The total carving is 11 1/2 inches. From the tip of the beak to the end of tail is 9 1/2 inches long. It is  entirely hand carved from basswood and painted in acrylics. The bird is mounted on a hand carved wooden branch and base. Glass eyes and metal feet.
