Open-winged Broad-tailed Hummingbird #1 This is an original, fully detailed
carving. The bird is hand carved out of basswood and painted with
acrylic colors. The size of the carving
is 5-1/4 inches high including the base. From the beak to the end of the tail is 3-1/2 inches
long. It is mounted on a hand carved and
painted wooden base. Glass eyes and the feet are hand made from
modeling putty. I signed this bird. I
am so confident of the quality of my work that I also
