Pied Kingfisher

This is a fully detailed and life sized carving. The total carving is 11 1/2 inches. From the tip of the beak to the end of tail is 10 inches long. It is  entirely hand carved from basswood and painted in acrylics. The bird is mounted on a hand carved wooden branch and base. Glass eyes and metal feet.
